There are many options when choosing therapy and counselling. Most seem to focus on opening up and talking about feelings. Men are encouraged to be ‘vulnerable’ and express their emotions, but real change only happens when you’re accountable to yourself and to others. Taking responsibility and admitting your part can be challenging.
My work focuses on helping men to talk about their dilemmas, and then to be accountable for the decisions and choices they have made. From this humble reflection, long lasting change is possible.
